Description
Oak table, two oak legs, single front leg is chestnut. Head support is birch, adjustment screw is curly ash. Wheel post is chestnut with an iron wheel axle and a bone ferrule around mortise for head. Head is mostly birch with an iron spindle and leather stays. The wheel hub, rim, and spokes are birch.
Notes
The mark "ND" are the initials of Nathaniel Draper, trustee at Enfield, NH, from 1803 to 1821. Spinning wheels were made at Enfield from 1803 to 1849.
