Description

Maple square rod scribed lengthwise to create for rows per side corresponding to lumber thicknesses of 2" to 17" by 1" increments. The sides are also scribed across their faces at 1" intervals with feet 1 through 5 stamped. The intersections of the longitudinal and right angle scribes are stamped, the numbers stamped at any given spot indicating the board foot content of a board of that thickness, one foot long. The rod ends are capped with an iron plate, each held on by four flat head wood screws.
