(a) forged iron U-bolt with enlarged circular opening at bottom of "U"; (b) forged iron ring, (c) forged oval-shaped "washer" that fits over both legs of U-bolt; (d) forged double washer in figure 8 shape; (e) and (f) are square nuts that thread onto threaded ends of legs of U-bolt.
