Iron rest, Canterbury, NH
Description
A rest for an iron. The rest has two rectangular pieces of wood for the base. The corners of each end are cut so they have a slight convex curve. The ends have remnants of orange paint on them. The two wood pieces are joined inside by two pieces of metal, one at either end. On the top face of the wooden base there are three pieces of metal which are bent so that they connect each piece of wood and all three sides of the metal are straight.
