Pine blanket chest painted dark green, Church Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Pine blanket box butted and nailed with mitered and nailed bracket foot with arched cutouts and a lid with molded edge and staple hinges. Interior has an unlidded till and is carefully lined with brown paper. A half-mortise lock secures the lid but, as it is covered with paper, the material cannot be ascertained. Painted dark green.
