Bonnet
Description
Naturally colored woven straw. Dissimilar weave on front edge and back seam, 1/4" w and 3/8" w. Rounded crown. Flounce begins and ends 1 1/2" from front edge of bonnet, and is 5 1/4" d. Flounce is chocolate brown taffeta on silk and is gently pleated at back. Interior: sides lined with dame material as flounce, back lined with cream-colored netting 3/4" wide piece of cream-colored silk with zigzag design over back seam. Bottom edge, near neck covered with dark brown velvet 3/8" wide. Reddish brown silk ribbon attached to proper right side of flounce and is 1 5/8" w x 15 7/8".
