Description

A vinyl "Barbie" doll (a) with light complexion, sculpted and hand-painted face. Widow's peak; silk auburn thread used for hair, pulled back into a chignon. Articulated hands; feet have black shoes (flats) painted on them. Movable head, arms, and legs. The doll is dressed in a cream-colored light cotton dress with vertical taupe-colored stripes (b). The dress is long-sleeved with a pleated skirt and a button snap closure at waist. (c) is a taupe and cream-checked cotton bertha with lace trim at neck, two snap button closures on front of garment. She has a light brown apron (d) that secures with one snap button at waist. Woven poplar bonnet (e) trimmed in white ribbon with pale pink skirt. White cotton petticoat (f); and white cotton leggings (g).
