Half-circle pincushion with raised back border (half-circle). Raised back covered with red wool; pincushion covered with quilted blue fabric. Front of cushion covered by red shiny fabric ribbon and bottom by dark blue fabric. Two tucked ridges were sewn into red wool covering on inside of back through which needles were inserted.
