Description

Sheet metal 24-tube candle mold, probably tin-plated originally. Tubes are slightly tapered cones with a strongly tapered conical tip with small opening for insertion of wick on bottom. Tops are open. Cones formed by rolling sheet metal and soldering overlap. The tubes are held at top and bottom in holes cut in rectangular, stamped pan-like affairs and soldered in place. Strap handles are soldered to the ends of the top "pan" which is open upwards. The base "pan" is inverted.
