Scythe handle consisting of an iron ring with a tang, threaded, that fits through center of a turned birch handle. An octagonal nut is set into the end of the birch turning into which the ring tang is threaded. With the iron ring around the snathe, the handle can be turned to tighten the ring in the snathe. The birch handle has an iron ferrule.
