Rectangular carrier-style basket with wrought iron handle, Church Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Rectangular white ash carrier-style basket with "filled" weaving on bottom. Uprights are 1" wide and weavers are 3/4" wide. Curved wrought iron handle that rises above basket for about 5" at longest point. Rope is wound around top of handle for about 4". Handle continues around basket and is attached to rim with two screw bolts (one on either side). Handle comes together at bottom with another two screws.
