Tomahawk style soldering iron with a wedge shaped copper head at a right angle to the rectangular wrought iron shaft. The copper head is held in an iron eye and peened. The other end of the iron shaft is set into a birch handle turned from round stock and an iron ferrule is forced onto the handle end.
