Description

Soldering iron with a square copper head with four rounded tapers to a blunt point. Head is set onto a round wrought iron shaft (about 3/8" diameter). The other end of the shaft is forged to a tapered square tang which is set into a square white pine blank which serves as a handle. An iron cylinder (about 5/8" diameter) is driven into the handle end around the shaft tang to serve as a ferrule.
