Description
Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The shoe last has a square toe, from which the height of the last increases toward the instep and then plateaus at top. Below the top is a through-hole. From the top of the last the heel curve extends to the seat. The seat's sides curve to form the waist and then widen to the joint before tapering to form the toe. The seat has nail holes along the outside edge of the last and clusters at the heel, waist, and toe. There are also a number of wooden pegs at the heel, waist and toe.
