Description

Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The shoe last has an almond-shaped toe, from which the height of the last increases toward the instep and then plateaus. Below the top is a crudely-cut through-hole. From the top of the last the heel curve extends to the seat. The seat's sides curve to form the waist and then widen to the joint before tapering to form the toe. The seat has numerous nail holes along the edge of the last, the waist and heel.
