Description

Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The last has a square toe with a complete toe cap, after which the last is cut at a right angle and continues for 7/16". The last then continues at a sloping angle toward the top with a hole near the top. In this space a wedge would be secured and made flush with the rest of the last. The heel curve is straight and has a horizontal metal staple sticking out. There is a similar staple on the bottom of the heel. The seat's sides are curved to form the waist and then widen to the joint before tapering to the toe.
