Description

An open wooden sewing box. The box is 9 7/16" x 4 3/8" with a base 7/32" and a lip 3/16" which protrude out from the sides of the box. The long sides of the box are secured with a nail in each corner of their face. The lip has brass screws on top, two on each short side and three on each long side. Just inside the far screws on the short side there is a small metal rod 1 9/16" h. Similarly, just inside the outer screws on the back side is a small metal rod on each side. Behind the center screw on the same side is a rectangular piece of wood running perpendicular to the box. This piece starts at the base and extends 2" above the box where it supports a circular disk 3 15/16" in diameter and secured to its support with a central metal screw. On top of the disk there is a circular piece which is 3 1/8" in diameter.
