Description
A fruit corer which has a large rectangular board. Attached to either side of the base are thin rectangular wood pieces joined by a thin piece of wood. These three pieces of wood hold the metal corer in place. This metal tube also sits within the base board. The board has a circular outline encircling the metal tube. On one end of the board there is notched rectangular piece of wood, perpendicular to the board. Another notched piece of wood is set into the other and secured by a wooden dowel to form a hinge and allow fruit to be pressed in the corer. The second notched wood pieces tapers in width, has a through-hole for the metal tube and hangs over the base board by 4 3/8" to act as a handle.
