Description
A wood block cut in the shape of a shoe. The last has an almond-shaped toe. At the joint the last is cut down than at an upward angle toward the semi-circular top. From the top the heel curve extends 2 3/4" to the seat. The seat's sides curve to form a waist, grows wider toward the joint before tapering toward the toe. There are numerous nail holes along the sides of the last. On the exterior sides of the waist are wooden pegs.
