Description
Large copper dipper with a long wooden handle. The dipper has a smaller diameter than the mouth of the dipper. The lip of the rim is rolled. The dipper has a seam in the back where another piece of copper is solder-joined and reinforced with copper tacks. This piece of copper continues for 5 1/2" at which point the handle joins. The handle is slightly notched to fit with in the copper hold. The wood handle is dark and the grain follows the length of the handle.
