Ironing Stove, Church Family, Canterbury, NH
Description
CBAlbum
The inscription in the album reads, "Arch for Heating Irons." It appears to be a a brick stove with an iron plate as its top and a metal cabinet enclosing the area above. Irons are resting on the plate and when the stove is fired and the cabinet doors closed the irons would be kept hot until used.
