Description
Eldress Anna White, of the North Family, Mount Lebanon, was photographed on the walk between the west side of the North Family's First (or upper) Dwelling House and the north door of the Second (or lower) Dwelling House. The photograph is number 17 in the series created and published by James E. West, photographer, titled, "Views of the North Family Shakers at Mt. Lebanon, New York." This copy has an inscription on the back stating, "Eldress Annie White of North Family Shakers who visited White House," written by an unknown person.
