Portrait of Sister Emma J. Neale (1847-1943). She was a teacher, and in 1872, she was authorized to teach boys, which was significant at the time. She was a trustee for 61 of the 96 years she was alive.
Photograph taken by L. J. Peterson; his wife, Ethel Demont Peterson, was a grand-niece of Sisters Emma and Sadie Neale.
