Portrait of a group of school girls
Description
More than two dozen young scholars, mostly young girls, with a few boys and at least one of their teachers are posed in the front of the School House (1839) located between the Church and the Center families at Mount Lebanon. The School House (1839), the Machine Shop (18__), and the Forge (1846) are three buildings located on the boundary between the First and Second Order of the Church Family that present a physical demonstration of the close relationship between these two families.
