Description
This photograph was made with the subjects located in the southwest corner of the North Family's Kitchen Garden. The building behind them is the Brick Shop (1829). The manuscript notation "Among the Golden Glow" is written on the back of the postcard. Another postcard in the collection uses this as the title of the card supplied by the photographer. Although not signed, through postcard 1950.4154.52 it can be assumed that the photographer was Will S. Potter. The use of the white border by the photographer may date the card between 1915 and 1930.
