Description

Young children, with a few older ones toward the back, are shown with the fruits of the harvest. Behind them is decorative text reading "Harvest Home". Text on the verso reads: "Mt. Lebanon, N.Y. Shaker colony. Picture is of Sunday School class taught by Inez Platt about 1888" and in another place, "Mother's S.S. class at Lebanon." is written in pencil. The initials "W. A. C." are also written on the back. There is a long description of a "Harvest Home" fair that was held at the North Family on October 1, 1891 is included in the The Manifesto 21 (November, 1891), pp. 244-249.
