Lap desk of butternut with slant-top and two dovetailed drawers in a superimposed case. Tongue and grooved lid with bread box ends, opening to reveal an interior drawer that has a lock on the front end. Inside the left lid is another small drawer with four compartments at the right hand end. Turned maple knobs on all four drawers.
