Between-centers turned (with face-grain orientation) white pine kitten-head basket lid mold. Top carved to a square. Face between the corners slightly relieved so the corners are slightly proud of the face. 5/8" hole drilled blind into center of bottom. Pin holes at the corners plugged with slivers of wood.
