Description

Rug woven with multi-colored wool yarns used as weft. These weft yarns were pulled up through the warp every three threads or so and cut or sheared. In between the woolen weft is several shots of plain weave. There is a 4" border of several different shades of brown. The center panel has wide stripes of various multi-colored yarns. It starts with an 8" section of red/white/blue and gray, the 7" of gray/red/brown and white. Next is 13" of brown/blue/gray and white, a large 19" section of gray/red/brown and white and ending with the red/white/blue and gray for 5".
