Steam-bent maple lid and box bands fitted with white pine headers. Swallow tails secured with copper tacks; headers held in place with copper points (shoe pegs). Box has been cut down from three swallowtails to two. At one time there were paper labels attached to the lid and at one end of the box, but only shadows of them remain.
