Shop-made punch-like tool consisting of a 2 13/16" length of steel with a 3/8" diameter ground down from something else. The last 1 1/4" of length is taper ground to an end diameter of about 1/8". Then a bevel was ground on opposite sides creating a chisel-like edge at the end.
