Oval box form. Ellipse of basswood with square edge in which three notches have been cut (1/2" deep, 3/4" long, two on one side and one on other) and covered by a strip of zinc sheet metal. One notch on the side with two is cut such that the sheet metal is set back forming a relative for the overlap.
