Description

Pierced, tin-plated sheet metal box enclosed in a framework of cherry. A hinged door with wire latch/pull provides access to the interior. Sides and top are pierced, bottom solid. Two through-mortised and tenoned frames of cherry are separated by four turned cherry corner posts whose tenons serve to pin the mortise and tenon joints. Top frame has two intermediary rails which are tenoned into frame with stopped mortises. Top has a wire bail for carrying.
