Scope and content

Bound manuscript copy of diaries kept by Elder Benjamin Seth Youngs, documenting a missionary trip taken by Elder Benjamin, Issachar Bates and John Meacham. After that is "Copy of a Letter taken by those 3 Brethren who went West 1805," Signed Dec. 31, 1804 "in behalf of the Church," David Meacham, Amos Hammond and Ebenezer Cooley; following that is a copy of "A Journey to the Indians," Miami, Ohio, March 1807 (incomplete).
