MS diary kept by Elder Benjamin Seth Youngs, describing a missionary expedition he undertook with Issachar Bates and Elijah Slosson; last entry indicates they traveled 337 miles during the period recorded here.

Historical notes

Elder Benjamin was one of the missionaries to travel to Ohio and Kentucky under the direction of Mother Lucy Wright, leading to the formation of Shaker communities there.
