Scope and content

Book of manuscript music with 8 page-index and 6 pages of supplemental hymns. Most hymns harmonized and in standard notation. PP. 1-20 are letteral notation by Rosetta Cummings; 21-45 are round notes interspersed with letteral notation, in different hands, dated in the 1880s; Added notations in pencil of authors. On first flyleaf are two stanzas of doggerel written in pencil, and on the second flyleaf, "Rosetta Cumings, Enfield, N.H. 1869".
