The Graves Elevator Company v. Gates and Shaw as Trustees, Supreme Court, Columbia County, NY, 1896-1897. Summoning all the business records of the Society from 1891 to 1897 and in particular communications with Dillon C. Willoughby, Thomas S. Smith, William S. Munn, Joseph Holden, Benjamin Gates, Levi Shaw, Robert Valentine or Emma Neale in “relation to the transactions of Robert Valentine in the City of New York from the 1st day of January, 1895, to the first day of May, 1897".
