A Daily Journal, or Diary of work &c. performed by the Boys and their Caretaker; in the First Order, New Lebanon by Elisha D. Blakeman, 1867-1872. Continued by another writer for 1873. [Probably William Anderson. See OClWHi, Shaker Collection, mss. no. V:B-71, January 14, 1871]. The remainder of the journal including blank spaces in the beginning pages have been used by James to record the weather and for other notations on farm work from 1900 to 1904. Typed label on front: Journal James S. Glass 1900-1903.
