Historical notes
While this gift drawing seems to have some logical plan to its execution, there are very few clues to its meaning. Most of the writing is of a "spiritual" form. The few inscriptions that are readable seem typical of the language of other recorded visions - words of instruction and encouragement. The title given to the drawing, "I am the Lord Your God," is located in the center of the drawing. Other script, for example, "Words from your Mother. Sleap [sleep] Sleap not sayes your Blessed Mother: work or be up and doweing [doing] shall be your reward. If you will at all be faithful to indure; so now sayes mother. I lieve my love and my __ - for you all," are written across the drawing without any particular order.
